MAS
Maric Autonomous Ship Laboratory(MAS) is positioned as a research, development and testing platform for ship intelligent systems, possessing full lifecycle support capabilities covering the research, development, testing, and operation of ship intelligent systems.
1) Independent R&D Capabilities for Smart Products
Targeting key technologies and hardware/software systems for smart ships, the laboratory conducts end-to-end product development. This encompasses user requirement analysis, system hardware and software design, tackling key technical issues, software development, integration and testing, as well as deployment and maintenance.
2) Integrated Technology and Product Testing Capabilities
For key technologies and hardware/software products, the laboratory conducts integrated virtual-real testing and verification, encompassing both virtual simulation and actual ship trials. Product functionality, performance, and reliability are comprehensively tested across multiple levels (simulation, virtual-real integration, and real ship) and under various scenarios.
3) Shore-based Operational Support Capabilities
Leveraging real-time ship-to-shore information interaction, the laboratory provides operational support services such as fleet management, voyage planning, and energy efficiency optimization. It also performs real-time monitoring, analysis, early warning, and decision support regarding the ship's operational status, while possessing remote control capabilities.
